Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a Team Management Profile cost?

Sorry but we can’t give you a firm number here as there are price differences around the world, plus what applications you want to use etc. We also sometimes do volume discounts as well. Generally though a Team Management Profile will be between $120.00 and $200.00 US dollars.

Why are your assessments better than anyone else's?

There are many good assessments out there but there are three main reasons why ours are best:

  • They are work-based; no need to figure out how to ‘interpret’ the data back into an organizational setting.
  • Most of our assessments are based on research about high performance at work. The Types of Work Model provides a context for high performance that enables far more practical application than preference only assessments.
  • We use, and will show you how to use, our assessments in ways that provide value over extended time frames.

Can I get a free TMP to see if I want to use it in our organization?

Maybe. You’ll have to talk to us first. We are going to want to know about how you are planning to use the TMP (or other assessment) or what challenges you are facing where its use might make sense. If it makes sense to provide a complimentary profile you will also need to have a phone a debrief of the results. This typically takes about 35 – 40 minutes.

Can we use the TMP for hiring and placement?

Quick answer is ‘No’. This is true of all ‘preference’ assessment since they are assessing preference, not skill. They do not have predictive validity. There is however quite widespread use of these types of assessments for this purpose. It is simply an inappropriate use. Our assessments can be used in the hiring and placement context and it works well but you would need to talk to us about how this can work.

Do you do consulting or coaching using your assessments?

Absolutely! We know how to use our assessments exceptionally well. So do our Network Members (people accredited to use our assessments). Have a look at our consulting page to learn more.
